In the old days, a dating application like Tinder that allows users to swipe left to reject or swipe right to express interest in the person who posts his or her profile for viewing was beyond imagination. This could be a common phenomenon in the age of technology that is being harnessed to help people go on dates. Now add another twist to it, if all the data that is collected is somehow used to match people who fit the profile the user is interested in; and a follow-up twist could be the fact that this data is openly available for other companies to mine and possibly reveal a lot more about the person than that is already on social media platforms.
